The Grymoire is the whimsical brainchild of Adam Scott and Mark Shillaker who, since the autumn of 2004 have weathered numerous line-up changes, woodworm and doubt to bring their curious, plangent songs into the world.
Each ditty is hand woven from the finest organic nonsense, smoked over a fire of damp, mossy twigs and left to curdle in the moonlight until ready to be released into the murky twilight. Our live shows include a cast of thousands and we invite you to GASP at the sensational confessions of the Reverend Aubrey Wetheringsett and his trouser bending obsession! GROAN at the self regarding shenannegins of Ruprecht, the hopeless fop! FEEL the triumphs and tragedies as lived through by the inhabitants of Quality Street! WONDER at the mysteries of Lucky Seven!
